This web app helps you insert academic citations into your text.
You can operate in two modes: Automatic or Manual.
In Automatic mode, simply write your text, select the maximum number of references per sentences you want, and press "Get citation". Our system will automatically find the best locations for the placeholders `[cit]` and fill them with relevant citations.
For example, for the sentence:
“The early work CMN achieves this objective using a memory network to store matrix representations of videos.” an example output would be: “The early work CMN [cit] achieves this objective using a memory network to store matrix representations of videos.”
In Manual mode, you have full control. You can type one or more `[cit]` placeholders (maximum 5) directly into your text. When you press "Get citation", the system will respect your placement and find citations for those specific locations.
Citations can come from two sources:
1. Online Source: Our system searches a vast academic database to find citations relevant to your sentence, sorted by relevance.
2. Provided by User: You can paste your own references in APA or BibTeX format. The system will then analyze them and suggest the best ones for your context.
After getting the results, you can see a list of suggested papers in the right sidebar. You can select a paper, edit its details, and copy the citation in your preferred format.
